The custom plates on my car read: GR8FL (Grateful.) Four years after ordering those plates I wondered if I deserved to have them on my car. I had every reason to be grateful, but I just couldn’t feel anything anymore. I no longer had energy or interest in things that had mattered greatly to me before.

Grief and liberation- Dealing with a late ADHD diagnosis

In July 2025, I had come to a breaking point. For at least a year I had been hopelessly depressed (though I didn’t realize it at the time). Despite receiving accolades and continuing to excel in my career, I had become apathetic. Nothing could satisfy me, so I sought help from a professional, a decision that was not easy for me to make, but one that would become a pivotal move toward finding peace and contentment.
