I Understand What It's Like to Excel in Life but Still Feel that Something is Missing

For years, I was the "successful" one. Master’s Degree. Flourishing Career. A home, a marriage rebuilt after sobriety, the best dog in the world.

And I still felt woefully unfulfilled despite my accomplishments.

I couldn't understand why I had everything I'd worked for but felt nothing. No joy. No passion. Just going through the motions while my soul watched from somewhere in the distance.

Everything shifted when I finally sought help. Within an hour of taking my first medication, I felt my soul snap back into my body. Six weeks later: ADHD diagnosis. At 39 years old.

Suddenly, everything made sense. The third-grade teacher who kept me after school because I hadn't turned in homework all semester (but finished it all in two hours). The way I'd always felt "different" from my siblings. The chaos of my childhood that masked what was really going on. The years of searching outside myself for validation I couldn't feel even when I had it.

The diagnosis was devastating and liberating in equal measure. What if I'd known sooner? But also: Finally, I understand.

I've spent my career working with natural resources — understanding ecosystems, stakeholder conflicts, the delicate balance of complex systems. Now I realize I was also learning about myself. Nature taught me that healing isn't linear. That systems are interconnected. That sometimes you have to venture from the path that looks "successful" to find the one that's actually right.

After 14 years working in environmental resource management, I'm building Up to Earth to help women reconnect with themselves through transformational coaching guided by intentional nature practices that help you discover and connect with your authentic self.

I'm Regina. Welcome to Up to Earth.

Let’s connect.
